U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling almost 100 points on Thursday.
Shares of Symbotic Inc. SYM rose sharply during Thursday’s session after the company disclosed a deal to acquire Walmart Inc.’s WMT Advanced Systems and Robotics business.
The acquisition’s total consideration is $200 million in cash and Symbotic will pay Walmartup to $350 million in additional contingent consideration in future periods dependent upon the quantity of APD systems ordered.
Symbotic shares jumped 17.7% to $31.48 on Thursday.

- Agora, Inc. API shares surged 18% to $4.7188.
- Rezolve AI Limited RZLV shares gained 16.8% to $2.8150.
- Spire Global, Inc. SPIR gained 15.8% to $16.00.
- ImmunityBio, Inc. IBRX shares surged 11.7% to $2.6700. ImmunityBio reported submission of applications for ANKTIVA + BCG to EMA and MHRA.
- HUYA Inc. HUYA rose 11% to $3.3650.
- BigBear.ai Holdings, Inc. BBAI shares jumped 10% to $3.7320 after the company announced a CEO transition.
- Archer Aviation Inc. ACHR shares rose 7.7% to $9.47. Needham analyst Chris Pierce reiterated Archer Aviation with a Buy and maintained a price target of $11.
- Ingram Micro Holding Corporation INGM gained 7.1% to $22.17 after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised its price target from $25 to $27.
- Carvana Co. CVNA rose 5.4% to $225.51 after Hindenburg Research, which previously issued a short report on the stock, announced it will close down.
- Applied Materials, Inc. AMAT gained 4.5% to $186.55.
